Otter Creek State Park Campground New Entrance Station

Located in south central Utah, the area was designated Otter Creek Park in 1965. The reservoir features one of Utah’s oldest earthen dams and is considered one of the state’s best trout fisheries. Visitors to the park can enjoy fishing, birding, hiking, boating, and OHV riding.

Working for the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction & Management (DFCM), Watson Engineering provided geotechnical engineering services, materials testing, code and special inspections
for the new 1,350 square foot entrance station. The building includes a fee counter, visitor information, offices, a conference room, and storage.

The exterior of the building was construction out of an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) system; this type of system helps improve the energy efficiency of the building and is considered a green building material.
