Four Brothers Solar Projects: Enterprise, Escalante 1, 2 and 3

These four projects (Enterprise, Escalante I, II, and III) consisted of separate 100 MW solar sites in various locations throughout Beaver and Iron counties in Southern Utah. Two independent substations were constructed to connect the power generator to the electrical grid.

The two greatest challenges were weather conditions and scheduling. Work was performed during the most severe months of the year: harsh summer and winter weather. Because all the sites were being built simultaneously, Watson Engineering coordinated man power and schedules to help move the project forward.

Watson assigned field technicians to certain sites to enable relationship building, communication, and overall best project management practices. If a concern arose, the contractor had access to multiple Watson employees with one phone call to address concerns immediately.
